July 15-18, 2014: WSP is a gold sponsor of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering's 9th International Conference on Short and Medium Span Bridges in Calgary, Alberta. This conference provide a worldwide state-of-the-art forum on all aspects of short and medium span bridges (i.e. spans less than 150 m). Bridge engineers, researchers, contractors and owners from around the world will discuss recent practices and new research and development concerning all types of short and medium span bridges. WSP's Satrajit Das, PE, PhD, Bridge/Structures Design Department Manager will present "Refined Structural Evaluation of Existing Bridges by Field Instrumentation, Diagnostic Load Testing and FEA" on Wednesday, July 16.

August 23-27, 2014: WSP is a contributing sponsor and exhibitor at the Southeastern Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (SASHTO) Annual Conference in New Orleans, LA. Department of transportation from member states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia will network, attend educational sessions and visit the exhibit hall. September 15-17, 2014: During the 2014 Auditing Roundtable Fall National Meeting & Technology Expo in Charlotte, NC, speakers are invited to help attendees understand some of the areas of auditing that they may not address every day, but may need to have expertise in conducting.  Meet WSP staff and join the conference as we all explore some of the “edges” of auditing.  In addition to hearing from experts in these less frequent audit situations, the conference will also have a true “roundtable” opportunity to discuss and share experiences. 

October 20-23, 2014: WSP will be attending the Annual Conference on Soils, Sediments, Water and Energy being held at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. The conference has become the preeminent national conference in this important environmental area. The conference attracts 600-800 attendees annually which includes a wide variety of representation from state and federal agencies; military; a number of industries including railroad, petroleum, transportation, utilities; the environmental engineering and consulting community; and academia.

October 22-24, 2014: WSP is sponsoring and will be exhibiting at the 2014 NAEM EHS Management Forum being held in Austin, TX. This is the largest annual gathering of corporate environment, health and safety (EHS) and sustainability leaders. For more than 20 years, NAEM's annual conference has been the premiere event dedicated to best practice-sharing for those developing and integrating strategic environmental programs within companies. The sessions cover issues such as: setting goals, creating a culture of safety, environmental compliance tools, greenhouse gas management, climate risk assessments, regulatory updates, water conservation, life cycle analysis, stakeholder engagement and external reporting.
